Born and
raised in Cape Breton, Bernie learned at a young age that his
chosen path was music. This is conveyed in his writing skills
and composition. Bernie’s first taste of music stardom was
performing on a popular Radio Show Case which allowed him to
performed a few songs which then quickly followed by a 30
minutes spot on the music series “New Faces” on CBC television.
From there Bernie went on to perform various Maritimes and
Canadian Touring activities. In between tours, Bernie wrote the
theme song for the “Year of the Irish” which was release as a
single with Tommy Makem’s “Canada my own Land.”

THE
BEST OF TIMES

been titled versatility, clearly evident upon first listen.
According to Bernie, “The variations in the music, seems to have

topics. “Their Ride” is a life anthem. Relationship songs

first single from “THE BEST OF TIMES”, “LADY ELENORE”, Combines
the pain of distant love, with that unmistakable “Roots-Rock
Blues” feel. When production decisions were made, Bernie
described the process by saying “If you want it to sound the
best it can, you had better work with the best you can.” Bernie
has achieved this by gathering a who’s - who of music Industry

songs is what awaits you on: “THE BEST OF TIMES” from BERNIE
